H2 Health Announces Growth in Texas and North Carolina
Transaction demonstrates H2’s continued expansion in key markets
Jacksonville, Florida — April 30, 2024
H2 Health, a comprehensive rehabilitation provider, announced today the acquisition of North Texas Physical Therapy (NTPT) including 4 locations in the Dallas MSA. H2 has also expanded its presence in North Carolina through partnership with Physio PT and Wellness (Physio) with two locations located in Asheville. NTPT operates 4 locations in the greater Dallas area including communities of Terrell, Kauffman, and Mesquite. Bill Lewis, PT founder of Physical Therapy Today (PTT), and Regional Director of Operations for H2 in Texas commented, “H2 continues to expand our footprint throughout Texas and expects to have over 50 locations in the state by the end of the year. This acquisition expands our community-based service area and allows us to leverage our management of 10 facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.”
After many years as a travel therapist, Chris Taylor MPT, CSCS moved to Asheville in 2012 and founded Physio. The practice expanded in 2018 and added a second location in 2022. Chris plans to continue expanding in Asheville and surrounding markets. “Through partnership with H2, I want to continue to focus on keeping the team happy and spreading awareness of our services in the community,” stated Chris. “Our facilities will continue to prioritize what’s important to our clients, getting better.” Amanda Streeter, H2’s Chief Administrative Officer, said “The partnership with Physio strategically connects H2’s dominant network throughout Southern Virginia, down the I-81 corridor to Asheville, with the further anticipation of expansion throughout North Carolina.”
After closing these transactions, H2 Health will own and operate over 215 clinic locations. H2 Health is a comprehensive rehabilitation provider with both adult and pediatric therapy services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
